Boeing Boeing at Seattle Repertory Theatre

Boeing Boeing at Seattle Repertory Theatre

Sorry it has been so long since I posted but I have been busy. I had a dream come true a few months ago and was cast in my first show at Seattle Repertory Theatre. The show is Boeing Boeing, and the role is Gabriella the Sassy Italian.

It’s the 1960s, and swinging bachelor Bernard couldn’t be happier: a flat in Paris and three gorgeous stewardesses all engaged to him without knowing about each other. But Bernard’s perfect life gets bumpy when his friend Robert comes to stay and a new and speedier Boeing jet throws off all of his careful planning. Soon all three stewardesses are in town simultaneously, timid Robert is forgetting which lies to tell to whom, and catastrophe looms. A riotous farce that recently enjoyed hit revivals in London and New York, Boeing Boeing is now set to arrive in Jet City—fasten your seat belts!

The show is directed by the amazing Allison Narver, who I have wanted to worked with for years. I am surrounded by a cast of veteran actors and our Design Team and Crew are FAB! We opened the show last night to a sold out house. It was surreal looking out on the faces of hundreds of patrons and hearing the roar of their laughter throughout the show.

As I took my bow with my fellow cast members, I could hear my Mother in the audience yelling me name. I know she is proud of me and I plan on keeping that smile on her face.

Now we have 4 weeks to share this show with Seattle audiences. I look forward to the ride every day and feel lucky to be on board with such talent.
